Solano Avenue

FB originally designed a new building on this site, but changed course after much consideration of both budget and ecological design. Amy and Matthew both felt compelled to figure out how to save much of this 1940's structure, molding it into a new version of a commercial corner food establishment. The end result provides a solar powered LEED pending building that opens almost wholly onto the Solano Avenue sidewalk, helping to activate this portion of the Albany commercial district.
