Architecture

Architecture blends art and science in an imaginative way as a means towards designing environments for people. People need places to eat, work, and play. But they also need access to space and light and order. These diverse needs are transformed by architects into concepts, and then into building images, ready for construction.

The traditional architect's role is to lead the entire process, helping to manage the project and all the important players. At Friedman Brueggemeyer, our design philosophy is more collaborative at heart, relying both on our superb craftsmen, with whom we've worked for years, as well as our often talented and artistic clients. We have found over the last three decades that our most successful projects are those that draw from all of these sources- in order to mesh site constraints, client budget considerations and limitations of materials into a balanced design solution. This is essentially the basis for the Design/Build model which we employ.
