Amy Brueggemeyer

General Contractor + Partner

Amy Brueggemeyer discovered an interest in architecture and building during a hands-on high school class and has continuously pursued a path in the field.  She became the youngest female journey level carpenter in Seattle in 1981, eventually becoming a foreman and survey lead on large commercial projects.  She received her degree in Architecture from UC Berkeley in 1994 and has combined her architecture and construction experience in the partnership of Friedman Brueggemeyer.  She gets great satisfactions out of the building process-working with a team of talented and dedicated craftspeople and architects to make better spaces for our clients.  Outside of work, Amy enjoys early morning walks with the dog, cooking, laughing and eating with her family, and three day weekends.
