I am so very happy with my beautiful new kitchen. I
find myself wanting to cook again, which I had pretty
much given up on in the old kitchen. The light and
openness are noticed by everyone who walks into the
room. And I STILL love the slate tile. Not only
that, at least one friend who is remodeling her
kitchen has also decided to use the same tile because
she liked it so much. I especially thank Matthew for
believing in me and trusting that the slate would turn

Finally, I must mention Will, who was in our home day
in and day out weaving his skillfull magic. Not only
did Will do beautiful work, but his open and caring
attitude and friendly nature made it very pleasant to
have him around. We truly consider him a friend and
miss seeing him on a regular basis. I think of him
often as I look around at our beautiful kitchen.
I can't imagine a smoother process in accomplishing
such a big project than what you provided. Your
ability and willingness to listen and respond to our
needs, the skilled craftspeople you have pulled
together and your able management of the project made
the whole thing seem fairy tale easy, compared to the
horror stories we've heard from almost everyone else
who's remodeled (including those who are married to
contractors who did the work themselves!).
I just can't thank you enough. I'm grateful to each
of you and wish you all the best in your future
endeavors. If we can ever provide a reference or walk
through for potential clients, please don't hesitate
to call us. I know ours isn't so big and fancy as
some you might show, but I think it's quite beautiful
and shows that a small space can be made to look big
and open.

smooth way you handled change orders, by the cleaning up at the end of each work
day (including Amy's personal efforts to keep dust down), the hauling away of
debris regularly as well as your employing excellent sub-contractors. Although
it's difficult to have people around every day, it helped a lot that they
were such nice folks. We also appreciated your willingness to make the kitchen
fully available as much as possible during the project. Living in one's home in
the midst of remodeling is not a recipe for ease and relaxation, but Friedman
